Tuition Fee Schedule 2024-2025
Guidelines:
The base tuition rate for all Catholic parochial and high schools is established by the Diocese of Memphis and approved by Bishop David P. Talley, M.S.W., J.C.D. When determining tuition rates, an “in-parish” rate is given to those families who are registered in and supportive of Holy Rosary according to the following guidelines:
1. The child is a baptized Catholic and must have been baptized prior to being registered in school. Children of catechetical age (grades 1-8) who wish to be baptized into the Catholic Faith MUST participate in the Rites of Christian Initiation for one year and will be baptized, confirmed and receive the Eucharist at the Easter Vigil in accordance with the expectations of the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
2. The family who has legal custody of the student is registered as a member of Holy Rosary Parish.
3. The family of the student participates in Sunday and Holy Day liturgies at Holy Rosary Church.
4. The family of the student contributes sacrificially by check or envelope to Holy Rosary’s weekly offertory collection to help with parish expenses (tuition payments excluded). The contributions must have been consistent and regular for a minimum of seven months prior to registration and continue through the entire fiscal year. If a family has recently moved to Memphis from another area, documentation of actual church support must be provided by the parish to which the family formerly belonged.
5. The family of the student is involved in Holy Rosary Parish activities (not just school activities) by the contribution of time and talent through the annual Stewardship Appeal for prayer and ministry.
6. A family that does not meet these guidelines must first register as members of Holy Rosary Parish and establish themselves as active parishioners in order to qualify for “in-parish” tuition rates at registration for the following school year.
7. Book fees and any activity fees (sports, club dues, lunch, After School Care, etc.) are in addition to the established tuition rates.
8. Professionally certified full-time teachers first employed by Holy Rosary Parish School prior to December 31, 2023, who are registered members and financially supportive of Holy Rosary Parish, will receive one half tuition credit for all their children. Registration and book fees must be paid in full for each enrolled child.
9. Parents in need of financial assistance are encouraged to participate in scholarship programs such as MOST, IEA, or ESA. You may access these programs through their websites, www.memphisscholarships.org or www.esa.tnedu.gov. Families from Holy Rosary Parish who seek tuition assistance from the parish are required to complete the application process by the deadline announced by the school.
N.B. All outstanding balances must be current and accounts with the cafeteria, library and after-school care must be paid-to-date before starting the new school year.
Who Is Eligible to Enroll at Holy Rosary School?
Holy Rosary Parish School is not a private school but a parochial school established and subsidized by the parishioners of Holy Rosary Catholic Church to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church. The school does not discriminate on the basis of parish affiliation, race, national origin, or religion. However, due to limited classroom capacity, priority for registration and enrollment is based on the following criteria:
Siblings of students already enrolled and whose families are members of Holy Rosary Parish.
New students whose families are members of Holy Rosary Parish
Siblings of students already enrolled and whose families are members of other Catholic parishes
Siblings of students already enrolled who are members of other Christian Churches
New students whose families are members of other Catholic Parishes
New students whose families are members of other Christian Churches
All other students
Enrollment Fees
Returning Students:
$125 All returning students (Non-refundable)
New Students:
$225 Non-refundable enrollment fee (for each child enrolled).
TUITION
2-K Pre-School
The base tuition for all students is $9,110.00.
For Catholic students registered in and supportive of any Catholic parish in the Diocese of Memphis, the tuition rate is $8,160.00. Documentation from the student's pastor must be on file by March 1st, 2024 for this rate to apply.
Because this is an optional program with low student-faculty ratio, no other discounts apply.
Parents are eligible for federal income tax credits for these programs, as allowable by law.
3-K and 4-K Pre-School Level
The base tuition for all students is $8,555.00.
For Catholic students registered in and supportive of any Catholic parish in the Diocese of Memphis, the tuition rate is $7,700.00. Documentation from the student’s pastor must be on file by March 1st, 2024, for this rate to apply.
Because this is an optional program with low student-faculty ratio, no other discounts apply.
Parents are eligible for federal income tax credits for these programs, as allowable by law.
3-K and 4-K Half-Day Programs
The Nazareth Early Childhood Program at Holy Rosary is primarily a five full-day program. However, a limited number of spaces will be held for families that desire only a half-day experience for their children.
The half-day program is a five-day, Monday through Friday program 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
The base tuition for all students is $6,520.00.
For Catholic students registered in and supportive of any Catholic parish in the Diocese of Memphis, the tuition rate is $5,865.00. Documentation from the student’s pastor must be on file by March 1st, 2024, for this rate to apply.
Because this is an optional program with low student-faculty ratio, no other discounts apply.
Parents are eligible for federal income tax credits for these programs, as allowable by law.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TUITION: Kindergarten & Grades 1-5
The base tuition for all students is $8,575.00.
Education Savings Account Memphis Opportunity Scholarship Trust
For Catholic students of families registered in and supportive of Holy Rosary Parish, the tuition rate is $7,015.00.
For Catholic students registered in and supportive of other Catholic parishes, the tuition rate is $7,250.00. Annual documentation from the family’s pastor must be on file before this rate applies.
Families with more than two children will receive a 10% discount off each additional child's tuition.
MIDDLE SCHOOL TUITION: GRADES 6-8
The base tuition for all students is $8,935.00.
For Catholic students of families registered in and supportive of Holy Rosary Parish, the tuition rate is $7,375.00.
For Catholic students registered in and supportive of other Catholic parishes, the tuition rate is $7,635.00. Annual documentation from the family’s pastor must be on file before this rate applies.
Families with more than two children will receive a 10% discount off each additional child's tuition.
ANGEL PROGRAM TUITION: $19,655.00
THE LEARNING CENTER TUITION: $21,300.00
